# DestructNote vs Vanishing Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: DestructNote at weekly against Vanishing Notes's monthly. DestructNote also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DestructNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Vanishing Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DestructNote ships an update weekly, Vanishing Notes monthly. The most recent releases landed on May 30, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
