# DestructNote vs Decision Journal

The clearest difference is update cadence: DestructNote at weekly against Decision Journal's every 6 weeks. DestructNote also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DestructNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Decision Journal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DestructNote ships an update weekly, Decision Journal every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
