# Shelly vs ScrollPal

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScrollPal at every 5 days against Shelly's every 3 weeks. ScrollPal also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shelly sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and ScrollPal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
