# Banshe vs Veil

The clearest difference is rating: Veil at 4.5 against Banshe's 1.0. Veil also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). Banshe's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Banshe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Veil asks for nothing beyond the download.

Veil holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Veil has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
