# PrimeNote vs MindLumos

The clearest difference is update cadence: MindLumos at every 3 weeks against PrimeNote's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PrimeNote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and MindLumos sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PrimeNote ships an update every 2 months, MindLumos every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
