# Repstack vs Forge

The clearest difference is update cadence: Repstack at every 8 days against Forge's every 3 weeks. Repstack also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Repstack sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Forge sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Repstack ships an update every 8 days, Forge every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
