# MatrixID vs Now Up

The clearest difference is update cadence: MatrixID at every 4 days against Now Up's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MatrixID sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Now Up sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MatrixID ships an update every 4 days, Now Up monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
