# ExamLock vs Secure Exam

The clearest difference is update cadence: Secure Exam at every 2 weeks against ExamLock's every 2 months. ExamLock's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ExamLock ships an update every 2 months, Secure Exam every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
