# Bread Count vs Recura

The clearest difference is update cadence: Recura at every 6 days against Bread Count's fortnightly. Recura also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). Bread Count's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bread Count sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Recura sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bread Count ships an update fortnightly, Recura every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
