# Bread Count vs Subsly

The clearest difference is ads: Bread Count at none against Subsly's shown. Subsly's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 8 days) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bread Count sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Subsly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bread Count ships an update every 8 days, Subsly daily. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
