# Aestu vs Minimalist

The clearest difference is update cadence: Minimalist at weekly against Aestu's every 5 weeks. Aestu's advantage is device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aestu sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Minimalist sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aestu ships an update every 5 weeks, Minimalist weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
