# E vs Optaxis

The clearest difference is update cadence: Optaxis at every 4 days against E's every 5 weeks. E's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. E sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.79 per month and Optaxis sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

E ships an update every 5 weeks, Optaxis every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
