# Mental Math vs Speed Maths SSC

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Speed Maths SSC at 15.0 against Mental Math's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mental Math sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Speed Maths SSC sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
