# 9 Kings vs Ultrapool

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ultrapool at 89% against 9 Kings's 62%. 9 Kings's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6) and ratings volume (785 vs 180). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 9 Kings sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ultrapool sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

9 Kings holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 785 and 180 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of 9 Kings's written reviews are positive against 89% of Ultrapool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

9 Kings ships an update every 6 days, Ultrapool every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
