# 9 Kings vs Surviving LA

The clearest difference is monetization model: 9 Kings at free against Surviving LA's free with in-app purchases. 9 Kings also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 2) and chart position (#78 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 9 Kings sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Surviving LA sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Surviving LA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 9 Kings has 1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
