# Overlay Camera vs Dittoday

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dittoday at every 6 days against Overlay Camera's every 3 weeks. Overlay Camera's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Overlay Camera sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Dittoday sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Overlay Camera ships an update every 3 weeks, Dittoday every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
