# Mapit GIS vs DocFind

The clearest difference is update cadence: DocFind at every 2 days against Mapit GIS's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mapit GIS sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.00 per month and DocFind sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mapit GIS ships an update weekly, DocFind every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
