# Polygrid vs Equalize

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Equalize at none against Polygrid's 1. Equalize also leads on ads (none vs shown). Polygrid's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Polygrid sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Equalize asks for nothing beyond the download.

Polygrid ships an update every 5 weeks, Equalize every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
