# BetterAgain vs Stride

The clearest difference is ads: Stride at none against BetterAgain's shown. Stride also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). BetterAgain's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BetterAgain sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Stride sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for BetterAgain against 5.0 for Stride. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BetterAgain has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

BetterAgain ships an update every 3 weeks, Stride every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
