# BetterKeeper vs Metis

The clearest difference is update cadence: Metis at every 2 days against BetterKeeper's every 4 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BetterKeeper sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Metis sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BetterKeeper ships an update every 4 weeks, Metis every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
