# AuraStudio vs ProgramU

The clearest difference is update cadence: ProgramU at weekly against AuraStudio's every 3 weeks. ProgramU also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AuraStudio sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and ProgramU sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
