# SubTracker vs SubSeek

The clearest difference is ads: SubTracker at none against SubSeek's shown. SubTracker also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). SubSeek's advantage is ratings volume (698 vs 8) and chart position (#25 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SubTracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and SubSeek sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.0 for SubTracker against 4.0 for SubSeek. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SubSeek has 698 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 0% of SubTracker's written reviews are positive against 10% of SubSeek's.

SubTracker ships an update weekly, SubSeek fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
