# ScrollBank vs TaskLock

The clearest difference is monetization model: TaskLock at freemium against ScrollBank's subscription. TaskLock also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (17 vs 5). ScrollBank's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScrollBank sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and TaskLock sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScrollBank ships an update every 3 weeks, TaskLock every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
