# Rakoon vs Re

The clearest difference is update cadence: Re at every 2 months against Rakoon's every 5 months. Re also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rakoon sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Re sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rakoon ships an update every 5 months, Re every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
