# Vocal Remover vs PickTune

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vocal Remover at every 3 weeks against PickTune's every 2 months. PickTune's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vocal Remover sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per year and PickTune sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vocal Remover ships an update every 3 weeks, PickTune every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
