# Speed Reading vs FlowRead

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FlowRead at none against Speed Reading's 1. FlowRead also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). Speed Reading's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speed Reading sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FlowRead asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Speed Reading against 5.0 for FlowRead. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed Reading has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
