# TV Next vs ReelStack

The clearest difference is update cadence: ReelStack at every 5 days against TV Next's every 2 weeks. ReelStack also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV Next sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year and ReelStack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TV Next ships an update every 2 weeks, ReelStack every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
