# Timer vs Ivy6

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timer at every 5 days against Ivy6's every 2 months. Timer also leads on iOS requirement (16 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Ivy6 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timer ships an update every 5 days, Ivy6 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
