# Appearance vs Vanity

The clearest difference is ads: Vanity at none against Appearance's shown. Vanity also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Appearance sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Vanity sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Appearance ships an update weekly, Vanity every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
