# AstraView vs TrackSat

The clearest difference is ads: AstraView at none against TrackSat's shown. TrackSat's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AstraView sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TrackSat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AstraView ships an update every 2 months, TrackSat daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
