# BlackSun Net vs Shadow Node

The clearest difference is ads: BlackSun Net at none against Shadow Node's shown. Shadow Node's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BlackSun Net sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Shadow Node sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BlackSun Net ships an update monthly, Shadow Node weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
