# Tactic Remote vs Happier

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Happier at 100% against Tactic Remote's 50%. Happier also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). Tactic Remote's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tactic Remote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Happier asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tactic Remote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Happier has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Tactic Remote's written reviews are positive against 100% of Happier's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tactic Remote ships an update every 2 weeks, Happier every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
