# TaskNow AI vs Plainly AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: Plainly AI at every 2 days against TaskNow AI's every 2 weeks. Plainly AI also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaskNow AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Plainly AI sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TaskNow AI ships an update every 2 weeks, Plainly AI every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and September 2, 2026 respectively.
