# Barometric Pressure Today vs Pascal Barometer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pascal Barometer at daily against Barometric Pressure Today's every 6 weeks. Pascal Barometer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Barometric Pressure Today's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 50%) and ratings volume (176 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barometric Pressure Today sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Pascal Barometer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pascal Barometer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Barometric Pressure Today has 176 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Barometric Pressure Today's written reviews are positive against 50% of Pascal Barometer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Barometric Pressure Today ships an update every 6 weeks, Pascal Barometer daily. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
