# Promni vs Simple Alarm

The clearest difference is update cadence: Simple Alarm at every 3 days against Promni's monthly. Promni's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Promni ships an update monthly, Simple Alarm every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
