# Taska vs Year Progress

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Taska at 208 against Year Progress's 3. On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Taska sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Year Progress sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Taska against 5.0 for Year Progress. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taska has 208 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Taska ships an update every 4 days, Year Progress weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
