# GymPaper vs MacroTracker by Reciplan

The clearest difference is update cadence: MacroTracker by Reciplan at every 6 days against GymPaper's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GymPaper sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and MacroTracker by Reciplan sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GymPaper ships an update fortnightly, MacroTracker by Reciplan every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
