# Quicrop vs Lock Screen Timer & Stopwatch

The clearest difference is ads: Lock Screen Timer & Stopwatch at none against Quicrop's shown. Quicrop's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quicrop sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Lock Screen Timer & Stopwatch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Quicrop ships an update every 3 days, Lock Screen Timer & Stopwatch every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
