# Yarrow vs Herbly

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Herbly at 100% against Yarrow's 50%. Herbly also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Yarrow's advantage is ratings volume (29 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yarrow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Herbly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Herbly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yarrow has 29 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 50% of Yarrow's written reviews are positive against 100% of Herbly's.

Yarrow ships an update every 2 weeks, Herbly every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
