# FitScroll vs Grindlocker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Grindlocker at free with in-app purchases against FitScroll's subscription. Grindlocker also leads on review sentiment (83% vs 67%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). FitScroll's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitScroll sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Grindlocker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FitScroll holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 163 and 119 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of FitScroll's written reviews are positive against 83% of Grindlocker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FitScroll ships an update every 10 days, Grindlocker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
