# FitScroll vs PumpLock

The clearest difference is monetization model: PumpLock at free with in-app purchases against FitScroll's subscription. PumpLock also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). FitScroll's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 33%) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitScroll sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and PumpLock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FitScroll holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 163 and 40 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of FitScroll's written reviews are positive against 33% of PumpLock's.

FitScroll ships an update every 10 days, PumpLock every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
