# Morse vs Zyphr

The clearest difference is monetization model: Zyphr at free against Morse's free with in-app purchases. Zyphr also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 6 days). Morse's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Morse sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year and Zyphr sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Morse against 5.0 for Zyphr. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

Morse ships an update every 6 days, Zyphr daily. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
