# React vs Talko

The clearest difference is rating: Talko at 4.7 against React's 4.3. Talko also leads on ratings volume (4.7K vs 11) and chart position (#53 vs unranked). React's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. React sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Talko sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Talko holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Talko has 4.7K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.
