# Metafi vs Kilo

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Kilo at 36 against Metafi's 3. Metafi's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metafi sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Kilo sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Metafi against 5.0 for Kilo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kilo has 36 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Metafi ships an update every 5 days, Kilo every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
