# Cyd vs BlueTusk

The clearest difference is update cadence: BlueTusk at every 3 days against Cyd's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cyd sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $39.99 per year and BlueTusk sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cyd ships an update weekly, BlueTusk every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
