# Birthday Schedule vs Notedown

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notedown at every 4 days against Birthday Schedule's every 3 weeks. Notedown also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Birthday Schedule ships an update every 3 weeks, Notedown every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
