About

Detent

Features

Detent puts your whole lifting session on Apple Watch. Start a workout on your wrist, set weight and reps with the Digital Crown, and log a set in two taps. Your phone can stay in your pocket, or in the locker. BUILT FOR THE MIDDLE OF A SET • The rest timer keeps counting with your wrist down and the screen dimmed, then taps you with an escalating haptic you can feel under the bar. It repeats until you tap Done. • Every set is saved on the watch the moment you log it. If the app crashes, is closed or the watch restarts mid-workout, Detent brings your session back with every logged set. • Fully offline: no phone, Wi-Fi or signal needed in the gym. • No account, no ads. Your workouts live on your devices and in your own private iCloud. Detent doesn't collect your data. ON YOUR WRIST • Start one of your routines or a built-in starter template in one tap. • Your last set is prefilled: adjust it with the Crown, then log. Mark warm-ups, drop sets and sets to failure. • Made a mistake? Undo the last set, skip an exercise, or add an extra set without leaving the workout. • Weights that fit the equipment: barbells, dumbbells, machines, cables and bodyweight moves each get sensible weight steps and starting weights, with plates per side for barbell lifts. • Estimated 1RM on your wrist, and a PR flash the moment you beat a record. • Double Tap logs a set on supported Apple Watch models. ON YOUR IPHONE • Build routines with supersets, target reps and rest times. They sync to your watch. • Browse 800+ exercises by muscle and equipment, or create your own custom exercises. • Review every workout, fix a set or delete a workout, and follow your e1RM trends and PRs in charts. • Switching apps? Import your workout history from a Strong or Hevy CSV export, and export all of your workouts to CSV at any time. • Follow your watch workout live on iPhone with a Live Activity. • Works with Apple Health. FAIR, SIMPLE PRICING • Detent Free: 10 workouts every month, with every feature included. Your count resets on the 1st. History, routines, charts, import and export are never locked, and imported workouts don't count. • Detent Unlimited: a one-time in-app purchase ($4.99 in the US; prices vary by region) removes the monthly limit. No subscription, ever. Buy it on iPhone or right on your Apple Watch. Family Sharing is supported. Requires Apple Watch Series 6 or later with watchOS 11, and an iPhone with iOS 18. Log the set. Never miss a rest. Leave the phone in the locker.
