# HabitUnlock vs Grindlocker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Grindlocker at 119 against HabitUnlock's 4. HabitUnlock's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HabitUnlock sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Grindlocker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for HabitUnlock against 4.6 for Grindlocker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grindlocker has 119 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of HabitUnlock's written reviews are positive against 83% of Grindlocker's.

HabitUnlock ships an update every 6 days, Grindlocker every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
