# Sanctuary vs FOCUS TIMER

The clearest difference is ads: FOCUS TIMER at none against Sanctuary's shown. FOCUS TIMER also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sanctuary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.39 per month and FOCUS TIMER sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sanctuary ships an update every 5 days, FOCUS TIMER every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
