# StudyFriends vs GRIT

The clearest difference is update cadence: GRIT at every 2 days against StudyFriends's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StudyFriends sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and GRIT sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StudyFriends ships an update every 5 days, GRIT every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
